"PaCMAN" is a product management tool which accepts product catalogue feeds from an Oracle ERP and filters them depending on rules defined in various rulesets. This flexible tool enables account managers to tailor a product catalogue to the needs of their client.
The original catalogue lists some 26,000 product lines and PaCMAN augments this data with product information from external sources to greatly enhance the final catalogue.
A simple to use web interface is provided for defining rules, combining rules into rulsets and assigning rulesets into one or more projects.
Product catalogues may be sent to any eCommerce platform as the data is output as XML and tranformation into any format is supported using XSLT.

PaCMAN is built on top of the Concrete5 CMS, allowing it to be easily and quickly extended. The import and export of product files is fully automated using cron jobs, and required Concrete5 Job modules to be created. Additionally, bespoke Concrete5 blocks were written to handle the product rule creation.
